A HOUSE ,A HOME
TEXT-BASED EXERCISES
SUMMARY
In this poem the poet tries to tell us the difference between a house and a home. A house is made of bricks, stones and wood. It has eaves and chimneys. It has a yard, tile floors. There are lots of windows and doors in a house.
On the other hand, a home is made by loving members of a family. It has brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers. They share each other's joys and sorrows. They love one another. Every member has care for the other members. In fact, home is a cradle of all virtues.
