Q1. When the poet was unhappy, who helped him and how?
Ans:-A proud man helped him with gold
Q2. When and how did the poet pay the rich man back?
Ans. The poet paid rich man his gold when he got well.
Q3. How did the poor man show his sympathy to the poet.
Ans:- The poor man bound the poets head he gave him bread to eat He watched him night and day

Ans. Because there can be no repayment for such a thing as sympathy.
Q. 5. Why is sympathy said to be heavenly ?
Ans. Sympathy comes from a true, kind and pure heart. That is why it is said to be heavenly.
Q. 6. How can you differentiate between the rich and the poor man in the poem?
Ans. The rich man is proud. He has only gold to give. He has no sympathy in his heart. The poor man has no gold to give. But his heart is full of love and sympathy.
