Q. 1. What does the poet compare a tree with ?

Ans. He compares a tree with a poem.

Q. 2. What does the tree look at all day?

Ans. It looks at God all day.

Q. 3. How does the  tree pray

Ans. It lifts its leafy arms to pray.


Q. 4. What does a tree wear in summer?

Ans. It wears a nest of robins.

(i) The banyan is my favourite tree.

(iii) It is a sacred tree for Hindus.

(iv) Its broad leaves can be used as plates.

(v) Its milky juice can relieve pain.

(vi) Many birds build their nests in this tree.
