Ans:-Natural fibres  :-Wool, Cotton, Silk, Jute

Synthetic fibers :- Nylon, Polyester

6. Explain the process of making yarn from fibre.

Ans:- In the process of making yarn from fibre. First a boll of cotton is twisted then it is sinned on spinner in this way yarn is made from fibre. 



7. How is silk obtained from a cocoon?


Ans:-The cocoon is kept under sun than it is boiled in hot water for quite some time till it's threads loosen , than one end of the thread is picked and reeled out ,in this way silk is obtained from cocoon. 



8. What is sericulture?


Ans:-Rearing , Breeding and feeding of silk worms (Caterpillars) to obtain silk for commercial and domestic purposes is called  Sericulture


9. What are the factors which affect the quality of the wool?


Ans:-There are so many factors which affect the quality of wool which are as under;
(a) Parasitic disease
(b) Chemicals
(c) weather
(d) Hormones
(e) Photo period
(f) Sheep breed
g) Nutrition of sheep
